Zobel

Descendants of Samuel Zobel and Laja Safran

Samuel Zobel, son of Moses, was born in 1828 in Zlate, a small town near Bartfeld, Hungary (now Bardejov, Slovakia). Laja or Leni Safran, the daughter of Leiser and Gittel Safran, was born in the village of Sverzov, also near Bartfeld, ca. 1842. She died in Slovakia in 1902.
