Descendants of George Wiseman and Mary George
George Wiseman was born in 1793 in Pennsylvania, the son of Adam Henry Wiseman. He married Mary George in 1817 in Columbiana County, Ohio. She was born in 1797, the daughter of William George and Malinda Hull. They settled in nearby Carroll County, Ohio, until moving south to Meigs County some time before 1850. According to the newspaper notice of his death, George was a veteran of the War of 1812. He worked as a farmer. Mary died in 1863, and George passed away in 1876.
