Descendants of Timothy Thomas and Mary Ellen Davis
Timothy Thomas was born in 1815, near Cardiff, Wales, the son of William Thomas and Elinor Davies. By 1820, his parents had settled in Butler County, Ohio, moving to nearby Dearborn County, Indiana by 1832. In 1843, William married Mary Ellen Davis in Decatur County, Indiana. She was born in 1826, the daughter of Jonathan Davis and Susanna Baker. Timothy had a carding and fulling business and also worked as a farmer. He died in Dearborn County, Indiana in 1887. Mary Ellen passed away in 1923.
