Descendants of Johann Richartz and Maria Catharina Stock
Johann Richartz was born in 1813 in Richrath-Reusrath, Rheinland, Germany, the son of Johann Richartz and Maria Gertrud Bonn. He worked as a gardener. In 1835, he married Maria Catharina Stock in Monheim am Rhein, Germany. She was born in 1814, possibly in Dusseldorf, the daughter of Peter Stock and Anna Margaretha Vollbach. At least four of their children immigrated to the United States, but little more is known of Johann and Maria Catharina.
